To fulfill this goal,SEAM organizes professional development workshops and training for aspiring educator members through out the year. A core-value of the SEAM program is to develop "classroom ready educators" when they enter the classroom. The Student Education Association of Massachusetts is an affiliate of the Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA) and the National Education Association (NEA) and represents aspiring educators, individuals who are higher education students in educator preparation programs or interested in becoming public educators.
